Oyster Shell Recycling
We work closely with the Coastal Conservation Association of New Hampshire, a program that collects and recycles oyster shells to help re-establish depleted oyster beds in the Great Bay.
Rooftop Solar Panels
In 2011 Jumpin' Jay's installed nine solar panels on the roof of the restaurant. The solar panels contribute to heating the restaurants hot water.
Composting
We collect all of our food waste into designated containers and work with Mr. Fox Composting, a local composting company that collects our compost on a weekly basis.
Strawless
We recently went strawless with the help of Sustainable Seacoast, an organization who's primary goal is to eliminate single use plastics from the restaurant industry. Compostable paper straws by Aardvark are available upon request.
RECYCLED OIL
Our used fry oil is collected and recycled.
